I think Conan is a unique, brilliant and gifted man, even making 'corny' look good. He fits the late-night venue better than many of the others I've seen of today's wide assortment of hosts! Comedic wit, with the intellectual twist that seems to be the going thing for late night these days, as opposed to the well-rounded showbiz veterans of past late night and daytime hosts ...He's no Johnny Carson, nor is Lay Leno for that matter, David Letterman is much better qualified in my opinion...But for today's era I think Konan has fast become a qualifier to reach that kind of status. Yes, it is a great speech, and, as the title states, one of best speeches ever...for him that is... the likes of a R. Pryor, G. Carlin, and other great comedic 'activists' would have really turned the joint out!
