Stewart Lee Baiting the Scotch

This is a brace of clips of Stewart Lee treading very dangerous ground in front of a Scottish or ‘Scotch’ as he would have it audience. Eg “Gaelic translates, as we know as: Gae – gay, lic – language so gaelic, your language, is the language of the gays” or how about “Scotland, as you’ll know was invented in 1911 as a means of marketing highland toffee.” Great stuff…. While we’re at it. Here’s another him with a taxi driver, same gig: “Facts!? You can prove anything with facts.”

Since I first posted this, Stewart Lee has published a startlingly funny and insightful memoir of a tour called Stewart Lee, How I escaped my certain fate, The life and deaths of a stand up comedian. It’s brilliant!
